High School Ministry

Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness. - Matthew 9:35

You were made to live with passion, purpose, and power, and we believe your faith can lead the way. Right now, in this season of life, you have influence. You have a voice. And you have the chance to show the world what it looks like to follow Jesus with everything you’ve got.

Jesus didn’t sit still, He went out, reached people, taught truth, and served with love. That’s exactly what we’re about, too. We’re here to help you grow in your faith, ask the big questions, build real friendships, and step into the kind of life God created you for. Whether it's worship nights, small groups, serving others, or just hanging out and being real, we’re all in.

This isn’t just a youth group. It’s a movement of students who are learning to live boldly for Christ. If you’re ready to reach your friends, share the truth, and make a difference, this is your place.

Let's go.

Phil Harden

High School Pastor

Brian Biggers’ passion in life is for others to hear the heart of Jesus. Jesus had a simple message: Love God and Love People. Brian communicates this same simplistic approach to share that message. His unique way of communicating the Bible has helped countless people discover their purpose on this earth. He cares about (and relates to) people who have been marginalized and hurt by religion.  We think you will like his style. He has also been known to catch a fish or two in his spare time.

How do I check-in my family?

The fastest and best process for check-in for you family is to pre-register. Once registered you can check-in on the app on your phone before arriving and scan the QR code at any check-in station. Sticker(s) will be printed out for your children and their bag for preschool age

Check-in is available 20 minutes before service begins, in a foyer at one of our checkin stations Preschool and Elementary parents must pick up their security ticket , if using the mobile app it stores it for you, and ensure their children are in their proper room before going to their group or entering the sanctuary.  Middle and High School students may check themselves in and out once service has ended. All children are required to wear their name tag on the front of their clothing so their name is visible. Preschool and Elementary parents must have their pick up ticket when collecting your children.  It’s our desire to keep your children safe so we require all parents to present matching ID #’s to team members.

What are your safety protocols?

INJURIES & FIRST AID

Most injuries we see can be treated with a little TLC and a band-aid. When an injury occurs that a band-aid can’t treat, a parent will be notified. An incident report will be filled out and a copy will be given to the parent. Leaders are never allowed to administer over the counter medication to a student.

EMERGENCIES

Medical: Dial 911

Fire: An external emergency evacuation plan is located on the wall by the door of every room for a safe evacuation out of the building.

Earthquake: Drop, cover, & hold on!

Active Shooter: Evacuate, hide, fight! Move to a part of the room that is not visible through the door or window. Help keep students calm, quiet, and away from doorways. wait for staff member to get further instruction “in person” before exiting the room.

Emergency Parent Pick-up: Parents will be notified by a staff member of the location of your student. Students will not be released until an “all clear” by a staff member, security team member, or Police/Fire Department official. parent pick will be conducted in a safe and orderly fashion.
